Because there are thousands of manufacturers and millions of model variations, it isn’t feasible for Alta Labs to purchase and test every SFP, SFP+, and DAC type available.
We must rely on the community to report compatibility.

How This Platform Works

This platform collects real-world compatibility reports submitted by our users. Each entry helps Alta Labs and the wider community identify which SFPs, SFP+, and DACs are fully compatible, partially compatible, or incompatible with Alta devices.

Users fill out a form to report compatibility with an SFP, SFP+, or DAC. Take care to match the make and model number exactly as printed on the module.
Your report is sent to Alta Labs for review.
After review, Alta Labs approves the submission and adds it to our compatibility database.

Each entry starts with a score of 50 and the scale is 0-100, so 50 is neutral. We automatically add or subtract (depending on the report) 1 when the submission is approved.

If you select “Works w/ Configuration Change” or “Doesn't Work” and you provide your contact information, we may reach out for more details.

We will not SPAM you. Your email address is encrypted before being stored in the database.
